Fate/Stay Night Anime Summary
Shirou forms a contract with Saber and enters the 'Holy Grail War' where the magicians duke it out to determine the strongest, as the one which obtains the Holy Grail will be granted their wishes. Tohsaka Rin, a magician that partners Archer, helps Shirou out as although Saber is the strongest class fighter spirit Shirou's lack of power limits her abilities, making them vulnerable. This anime has a bit of everything, a bit of mystery, some fighting, magical powers and not surprisingly Shirou finds himself falling for Saber as she just happens to be cute... so there's romance too!!

Fate/Stay Night
is based around the concept of seven magicians which form pacts with
'servants' - powerful spirits of past heroes from different fighting classes; Archer,
Lancer, Caster, Rider, Saber, Assassin and Berserker. Shirou a guy without
the power of a true magician, but with the ability to reinforce objects
accidentally stumbles upon a pair of battling servants. One servant
pursues Shirou attempting to kill him and he eventually is saved by Saber;
the previous servant of Shirou's late guardian.
