Ceres Celestial Legend Anime Summary
What follows is madness. If her family's not trying to kill her they're trying to capture her and experiment on her in order to create more celestial beings. What's worse Ceres seems determined to kill Aya's brother Aki, as she is convinced he's the reincarnation of her long-dead lover. Amidst the confusion the mysterious stranger Touya, who cannot remember his past, turns up to rescue Aya occasionally and the love story unfolds... Ceres Celestial Legend or Ayashi no Ceres is an anime definitely tailored to a more adult audience. It's not a light-hearted flick, though it does have funny moments, it's more a drama/romance than anything. It's fast-paced with a couple of interesting plot twists, so will keep you guessing!

Aya
and Aki are twins about to celebrate their joint 16th birthday. Instead of
going out for karaoke with their friends though they have to go round to
their grandfathers for a family gathering. Their gift is somewhat odd
though... a severed hand. And the effect is even stranger. Aya's heart
pounds and she transforms into Ceres the celestial being she's descended
from...
